I graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a minor in religious studies. I have lived in Colorado and Florida, and both have shaped me and my writing in unique ways. I have always enjoyed writing, and since I was a child, I knew that making a career of it was my calling. 

Although I have the most professional experience as a journalist, I have a wide array of writing skills. I can also write creative nonfiction, nonfiction, fiction, poetry, prose and personal essays/memoirs.
